How can I get “positive energy”?

Question by scholar: How can I get “positive energy”?
I love those few people that always have that “positive energy” about them. They’re hard to find but you might know one:) They’re always smiling and making everyone feel good. Everyone wants to be around them. I’m not talking about being popular or anything. I mean that peacefulness that calms everyone around them. Like when you talk to them you feel so privileged.
I want to become a person like that. I am already a naturally quiet person. I don’t think that has anything to do with that. But I can get really moody and depressive sometimes I guess. I can get very sensitive too. You might say that I shouldn’t become someone I am not. But I’m just trying to improve myself. I love people, life, family, etc. So let me know if you have any tips lol:) Peace

always look at the bright side…..? that’s really just it. when something might “depress” you, think it could’ve been worse, or maybe its not that bad or your overreacting. Some people who seem cheery/peaceful to the world around them might be miserable inside. :/ just sayin…

This may not be exactly what you are looking for but it may help:

Happiness is a choice.

Yes, a certain event can cause sadness or joy but day-to-day happiness is a decision, not something that others do for you.

You can choose to dislike many things, constantly gripe about your lot in life and annoy those around you. That is a sad and wasted life.

Or you can choose to be a happy person, to enjoy many things in your day; a walk, your work, meeting people… many things. You would feel better and others would truly enjoy being around you and seek your company, a self-reinforcing cycle.
